Overnight after 70th birthday celebrations

We stayed overnight after a Whist drive for a 70th birthday celebration.

The service and room were just fine. We had buffet food provided for our evening and as a vegan I was impressed with the separate platter provided for me. Only slight issues were the overly hot room for the function - not uncommon in any hotel - and for breakfast in the morning it was strange for all having full English not to be offered choice of style of egg and then to be given poached eggs. Traditional . Popular. Otherwise all good and would certainly recommend for a stay in Hertfordshire.

Small room don't book room 5

Nice, clean room but small with even smaller bathroom.

Breakfast nice but un attentive staff- sadly had to wait for them to appear then ask for things. No marmalade. Shame really was looking forward to staying there.
