Stay at Chelmsford serviced apartment
A modern, clean, comfortable, warm and quiet flat, well-located for the centre of town.
Good quality fixtures and fittings with clean, fresh linen. The owners were warm and friendly and very responsive to any enquiry/request and happily accommodated dietary requirements. Had an excellent stay and would highly recommend.
Take a torch!
Comfortable rooms within a cottage.
Facilities in room very good but not as good as the Lodge. The evening meal and breakfast at the golf club was also good. The cottage is very difficult to find in the dark as the road is not lit and the sign on the house is also not lit. I had to ring twice for assistance. The walk to the golf club to eat is along dark road. I fell over the sleeping policeman in the entrance to the golf club and overall felt quite unsafe on the walk there and back. My advice - arrive in the light and take a torch if you don't want to drive the 400m there and back to eat.
