when we arrived at the hotel there was no-one behind the reception desk.

we was there a couple of minutes before the person came to the reception. he has to ring the manager to authorise our booking which to my knowledge I had payed for it until the next day when we was about to leave to go to my fiance sisters wedding. the manager came up to me and asked what room I was in and he said I hadn't paid which I was abit confused as he had taken my detail on the phone a few days prior to us staying. then he asked us to pay just as we was leaving I had told him I had already paid. he then told me it hadn't gone through so I checked my internet banking and a pre-authorised amount of £59 was pending and because of this I didn't have enough in my account so we could only stay for the one night. he started to raise his voice to me and my partner. we also told him that the room wasn't in good condition, the bed had black hairs on it, the cups was filthy, there was no hot water in the shower, there was dead flies on the window sills and there was dust swept under the bed, which he said there wasn't so we told him to go and have a look which he refused. I was panicking because we was going to be late my my fiances sisters wedding which in turn caused me to have a panic attack. he told us as we couldn't pay for the 2 nights we was staying we had to get out so I rushed up to the room and packed mine and my fiances belonging. unfortunately I left my mums travel iron case and plug for the water part of the iron in the room as he rushed us out. we had to go to my fiance sisters wedding with our suitcases in tow. I will never book with this hotel ever again he was so rude and the hotel was very dirty. they have self rated themselves a 3 i think that is to good i would rate them 1 or below.
