Tucked away treat
Brookhouse sits on the edge of Clapham, a quiet and scenic little village that itself sits and the foot of a popular walking route up to Inlgeborough, one of the Yorkshire 3 peaks.
Alan was an excellent host, very accommodating (happy to offer space to dry wet walking kit), and if you are there at a weekend when you can dine there, do so the food is superb. We stayed in room 3 which was a nice sized room overlooking the brook out the window, this room isn't on-suite but does have it's own private bathroom which is again a great size. The room was well stocked with tea/coffee facilities (and biscuits) and was lovely and warm to return to after a chilly and damp day out on the hills. I would definitely recommend the place.
