The restaurant is well known in the area for the outstanding quality of dishes served, All dishes on the a la carte menu are prepared from scratch using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. The restaurant specializes in locally sourced contempory British cuisine. Pizzas and bread are homemade and cooked in the stone oven. Traditional English High Tea is served in the afternoons including homemade scones served with clotted cream. The air con directly outside our room was horrendous even with the the windows shut. Overall though the hotel is lovely and had a superb Sunday carvery
