Great Value

Friendly, family run accomodation.

Ideal for my needs, & good value for money. Only minor issue was that the free wi-fi was very intermittent.

During my stay I had no mobile phone signal (on O2 contract) but this was not a major problem as I was only staying overnight.

Great if you're travelling with dogs and want to go 'off grid' ie no wifi or data/phone signal

Very helpful hosts, especially as they said they weren't expecting me (ie laterooms hadn't notified them of my booking).

Lovely substantial and well cooked full English breakfast. Nice modern room, clean in all the visible areas though dusty under the bed and behind furniture. Bathroom modern and clean too, except for the shower which clearly hadn't been cleaned since it was last used (long black hairs on the tiles) or deep cleaned for some time (mildew, orangey discolouration, pubes...I wouldn't have used it had I noticed before I got in). The TV worked ok, there was tea and coffee facilities, but there is no wi-fi. There is a password, but if you can get a connection it drops out almost immediately so for me was useless. And there was no data or phone signal (Virgin). But I'd recommend it if you are travelling with dogs, want to be out of town, and aren't bothered about a phone/data signal. The cleaning is easily sorted, If I'd noticed sooner I'd have ask for the shower cubicle to be cleaned.
