Over rated, expensive, disappointing, grumpy staff
Magnificent views from upper rooms.
Rooms good but not great. WiFi intermittent. Breakfast very ordinary. No laundry service. Staff who really don't want to be here. Poorly trained waiters who can't take an order. Overall, very disappointing, especially at these prices..
Everything was fine until we entered the dining room for our for expected Xmas evening meal. There wasn`t one!Why didn't the restaurant manager at breakfast time ask my wife and I if we would be dining at lunch time when the Xmas dinner was on.There was no indication in the hotel that we saw to indicate that hotel residents would need book for the lunch time meal so we went out for the day.To find the restaurant was only offering as limited menu in the evening was very disappointing to say the least and although the chef manage to rustle up a token Xmas meal it was eaten in an empty restaurant. This plus the fact that my wife was feeling unwell is why terminated our stay the next morning. For all the hotels good factures our stay was marred by this lack of communication
