Lots of stairs

This hotel is situated on the first floor and on the corner of a fairly busy junction.

There isn't a car park close and there isn't a drop-off point. Once you have hauled your cases from the available, insecure, car parking that is available, you are daunted by the number of stairs that you have to scale to get to the reception area. Once you have checked in, you then have an additional staircase to scale before you get to the accommodation floor. All the rooms are reached by a single corridor and the passing of guests to and fro at all times of the night isn't helped by the space clearly visible under our bedroom door which allows most sounds to enter the sleeping area directly and as our bed was next to the door, giving us a very restless night and an early rude awakening. The main worry with the condition of the door is the fact that if a fire occurred during the night we would have been overcome with smoke before we realised it. These were our only problems with the accommodation as most other things were about standard and what we expected.

Nice hotel very friendly staff

Nice hotel.

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. A little noisy during the night both from late arriving guests and from clients of the bar below. However overall well worth a visit.
