Split into 3 areas, all with open fires. There is the snug which over looks the beautiful countryside and has a view over Sheffield; on a good day you can see far and beyond. The lounge at the front of the pub is spacious. The family room also at the front of the pub is a separate room, ideal for families, especially smaller children as there is a child’s gate at the entrance, which can be closed to keep the little ones safe. Toys and games are also provided. There are 3 comfortable en-suite bedrooms. One Double and two Twin rooms. Each room is located at the rear of the property, in their own annex over looking the wonderful countryside. All ground floor. There are plenty of attractions locally: bird watching; walking, from novice to experienced hikers/ramblers; fishing, from fly fishing at Ladybower Reservoir a 15 minute drive away and course fishing at Dam Flask on the doorstep. Also close by are clay pigeon shooting, golfing and horse riding (all by arrangement). If you are more into relaxing with a drink, then come along and just enjoy the views. During the summer there is the local cricket team at Low Bradfield or visit the historic Bradfield Church at High Bradfield.

Lovely B&B / pub
We really enjoyed our stay at The Royal Hotel.
It is a perfect place to relax. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished, the food is excellent and we received a lovely warm welcome from the owners. Definitely will go back!
I had been there before so I knew what to expect. Got to know the people there more and was offerred plenty of advice for my walks in the peak district. Food was excellent and good range of beers on offer. Room clean and good value for money and would recommend this place to my family and friends.
