Grimscote Manor Hotel
Close to NEC which was great, staff very good, food good.
Room not so great. Don't think I have ever stayed in a smaller room. One small window overlooking building work. Very confused decor. Opted for this rather than one of NEC national chains, wish I had not. Nice sunny day, so asked for outside area to sit, offered small area in building site, ashtray overflowing. Understand building works have to be done, but should have been warned. Not nice laying on bed for a rest, to be confronted with builders climbing past your window
brendans 70th birthday
We attended a 70th birthday dinner on Saturday 24th January 2015.
Around 25 people attended. The hotel staff made every effort to ensure that things went as planned and achieved it remarkably well. Everybody was polite, obliging, pleasant, couldn't fault them. The hotel itself was exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, even tea in real china cups. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.
