About the hotel
The hotel H10 London Waterloo is a newly-build stunning 4 star with a superb location in the well known Waterloo Road, 5 minutes away from Waterloo Tube Station. The hotel has 177 stylish and elegant guest rooms (144 Standard Double Bedrooms, 32 Deluxe Bedrooms and 1 Suite). It is equipped with all services common to our H10 City Hotels (including a large selection of products on our Breakfast Buffet), the Three O Two restaurant (A la Carte author‘s cuisine Restaurant or when booking half board,you will enjoy a Dinner with a 3 course set menu,drinks not included),Lobby Bar with Business Corner, Waterloo Sky Bar (Brand new roof terrace), GYM and a Health and Beauty Area (located on the 8th floor with impressive views of the city).

Great hotel - shame about the staff
This hotel is lovely, very modern, great view, nice extras like shaving kit, nespresso coffee machine etc.
But the welcome was awful. Reception desk initially empty - so went o another desk where a grumpy guy was sitting, no smile, no welcome, directed me back to the reception desk saying that someone was coming. A guy did emerge, very distracted, again no smile, no welcome, then ignored me and started sorting out a taxi along with another member of staff who was also sorting out the taxi for a person at the bar which was at the other end of the lobby - this was weird. Then when he got to me asked for my name twice and then stared at the screen forever. I then asked if I had prepaid or not as I had booked with Laterooms. He couldn't understand what I was asking him and then suddenly another guy popped his head out the door behind reception and said I had not prepaid. Again no smile no welcome - said it in a way that made me feel I was trying to get a free room. Then the first guy checked me in and then offered me a complimentary drink which was at the end of the reception desk. This all felt very weird. It was as if whoever was in charge was trying to make the check in experience great added in the nice touch of a complimentary drink as icing on the cake ....but the forgot yo bake the cake - because the basics were so poor. The staff need training. At checkout the experience was a bit better but agin distracted staff who stare at the computer screen (is the system very old and cumbersome or something?) rather than interact...they did ask if everything was ok with my stay but without any eye contact - it was as if it was part of a tired old script rather than genuine customer care so I said 'fine''. Overall lovely hotel but the staff need attitude training.
