100% would recommend it to a friend
Best sleep I've had in ages
The owners Guy and Ellie are very warm and welcoming, I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a double from a single, which was lovely.
The room had a few cobwebs and a few stray hairs in the bath plughole, but these are very minor things compared with the warm service, comfy bed, warm cosy room and great breakfast, I was even offered some wellies so I could walk around the grounds. It was actually the best nights sleep I'd had in ages. I've already recommended to local friends. A friend with his children aged 7 and 3 also stayed the same night and Guy and Ellie were very welcoming to them as well and there was a trampoline in the garden, but it was too wet for them to use.
Friendly and welcoming, almost home from home!
From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was made to feel welcome and at home.
The hotel itself is lovely and set close to the town to get to things if you need to but far enough away to give you a peaceful stay and picturesque view outside.
To top it off the breakfast was beautifully cooked and generous in portions, I was still full in the evening.
Overall I would recommend this place to anyone whether you are stopping on the way to somewhere else or want a couple of nights away to rest and relax.
