Looks lovely, the grounds with wildlife nice to watch.
Well positioned for access to key routes around the lakes. The apartment was ok, well resourced kitchen ,the bathroom smells dank which affects the bedroom. the first night and early next morning was challenging due to young children in the apartment above running around as noise travels easily. The place just felt souless to us, a grand house shared by strangers who don't seem to see each other . But it does what it says on the tin .
A hidden gem
What a delightful place to stay.
Complimentary handmade choc sand prosecco awaiting. A modern apartment in an old Manor House with oodles of character, wooden panelling and access to some of old house. The grounds were worth a wander to see the red squirrels and wild flowers. We went on 2nd weekend of month where there was a very good farmers market and a well supported coffee morning/ bric-à-brac sale at church. Excellent chocolate factory in village.
