Excellent accommodation, not to great when you get accused of illegal activities.
First off, from the outside it is very plain and basic looking and in my opinion for an apartment accommodation that is very important.
The general look of the place is ok, the public spaces however seem very empty and open. There is some interesting art which is nice too look at however with the spaces so open with no furnishings it makes the place look more like an art gallery.
The actual apartment what incredibly nice, clean and very big. All the white goods needed for a short term or a longer stay which will make you feel more at home.
The only fault I had with Micasa was getting accused of illegal activities and smoking in the room. Neither were the case at all, however the management rather that asking to have a quite chat about their unfounded suspicions posted a letter under the door which included stating the above.
This destroyed the entire stay that both myself and my partner, neither of us were able to relax the entire time and actually spent the best part of the evening wandering around Aberdeen city centre. I spoke with the receptionist about this and not only did she not seem to care at all she was dismissive about the whole thing.
Overall, the place looks great and is incredibly comfortable and home like but the staff (daytime reception manager) leave something to be desired.
I am unsure if I'd ever go back there again due to the above. Without any of that happening I'd be staying there every weekend I'm in Aberdeen.
Fantastic MiCasa stay.
