Recent stay

Beautiful historic pub in a lovely location.

Pleasantly surprised to find that road noise was not a problem, despite our family room being nearest to the road. Unfortunately there was some intrusive music until approximately midnight, although not sure of the source - possibly staff clearing up. We didn't arrive until 11pm, so pub would have been shut soon afterwards. Lovely breakfast in the morning with a view overlooking the Thames. Staff very friendly. Wish we could have arrived earlier the night before so that we could have sampled the food and ales. The room was very comfortable although it could seriously do with some redecoration. I appreciate that this would be limited to cosmetic, due to the listed building, but a little here would go a long way. Will certainly stay again.

Lovely place, great staff

This is a very scenic hotel next to the river and although the rooms could do with a bit of decoration our room was very comfortable.

The staff were excellent and the service top rate.
