Location superb for Sands Centre events
We stayed at this guest house for an over night stay as we were going to a concert at The Sands Centre.
The owners happily welcomed us in, we were asked what time we would like breakfast rather than told. The choice was good and the full English is certainly plenty to put you on for the whole day. We had the twin room, which was very clean and well presented. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower good. There were also a few extra little touches such as toiletries just in case you forget anything. Could od done with a shelf in the bathroom to put your things on but apart from that, Superb
No 1 Guest House
I was struck by the good value of the Bn B ,how clean and well furnished this period house was with a good strong shower, coffee and TV in our bedroom.
Sheila was helpful in directing us to our destination and later arranging a taxi into town. We were able to come as we pleased. My only comment would be to have a stronger filter coffee but that's a preference thing. Thankyou.
