Disastrous

Cleanliness of the room was very poor.Four light bulbs needed replacing,The mattress was too small for the bed frame & there were cushions & a draught excluder wedged in the top of the bed to stop the mattress moving .The wood paneling was thick in dust.

The bathroom wasn't any better , the grouting in the shower cubicle was black in places & needed replacing.the shower head was black & needed descaling. The plumbing in the sink needs attention too. Downstairs in the bar the tables were sticky & the public toilets not very pleasant. Security at the hotel wasn't any better.yes they had CCTV but due to a rather large tree in the beer garden we were unable to identify the lowlife who smashed our car window with a crowbar.

Lovely hotel in a great city

Fantastic hotel with great staff and lovely city location.

Toilet didn't flush until we did some emergency plumbing but this is a really very minor gripe. All in all an excellent place to stay and will definitely be staying again.
