About the hotel

Broomhall Castle is a small family owned 10 Bedroom Hotel with its own restaurant, bar and residents lounge. Our restaurant is open 7 days and uses where possible only the finest fresh local ingredients and all food is prepared in our kitchen by our chefs, who are on hand to discuss any special dietary requirements you may have. On arrival why not relax in our lounge where you can browse through our menu and have pre-dinner drinks, and again relax in comfort with after dinner coffees and liqueurs.

We are centrally located and are within 45 minutes of both Edinburgh and Glasgow and less than five miles from the city of Stirling with its Historic Castle and many attractions and varied nightlife. We have many local golf courses and outdoor activities aplenty. We are nestled at the base of the Ochil Hills and can offer varied walks should you decide to walk off your indulgences from the night before!

Manager and family welcome

Staff were lovely and very obliging however that was over shadowed by the managers arrogants and disrespectful to for his customers.

In addition promises to make sons first time in Scotland and tenth birthday didn't surface. Customers service is key not just look and feel of a building.

Hugely Disappointing

Building looks like a more modern castle, there ends the similarity.

Inner building is soulless, neither traditional or modern, doors are from a school/hospital or warehouse. Room was spacious, cracked tiles, seemingly unfinished door surrounds to bathroom, bath vent choked with dust. No hairdryer, but staff provided a tired grubby unit. Room has flat screen TV. Actually it is a computer screen size display with a portable aerial that works best when your partner stands and holds it near the window. The window that overlooks another roof and has not been cleaned. No bottled water, a sofa that was barely sprung with seat cushions flatter than a pancake. Skipped dinner ate out in Stirling, breakfast adequate, but bland products, sausage, mushroom and beans in particular. Cannot understand the positive comments this hotel has accrued. Staff are friendly and helpful.
