Loved the country feel and space of Norton Lodge.
One room tiny but other spacious. Ideal for money with all conveniences you need for a stay overnight.
We arrived later than planned, due to traffic and the route our satnav took us when typing in the post code of the hotel.
This literally lead us up a garden path. After spending about 30 minutes going up a farm track with no signs and massive potholes. We ended up at someones house. They then told us that the lodge had used their post code and pointed us in the right direction. When we arrived at about 8:30pm the reception was shut, us and another lot of guests went on a wild goose chase around the place to find someone to check us in. When we finally found someone she was rude, argumentitive and extremely unhelpful, Vanessa I think her name was . The room had marks all over the walls, and the duvet was ripped. There seemed to have a party going on, that is fine, however it would have been courteous to have been told this at reception that this would be going on till late seeing as we were right opposite the room. Would not stay here again and would not reccomend to anyone.
