GOOD POINTS were, it is central, there is a free continental breakfast free wi-fi beds were comfortable and they kept our bags the next day till 5pm.
BAD POINTS were I had to go down to reception to ask for clean bedding as it was badly stained (not dirty) washed in stains. The telephone did not work in the room.
There was a blinking light outside which was still visable when curtains were closed,
We were woken by people passing being very loud a couple of times (it was a Saturday eve)
The room was tired, needing a refresh, radiator rusty on top, marks on walls , paint on bedframe. I would stay again but only if it was a bit cheaper.
Good budget hotel
So this is a budget hotel, room price was cheap and room was very basic but clean.
Was happy with what I got for the price, and continental breakfast was also included which was good. The hotel itself is very nice if a bit basic, the hotel has a lot of history and a lovely spiral staircase (which is quite tight, be aware if mobility issues that might be a problem)
One word of warning - my room faced directly onto a nightclub and so it was quite loud, with people outside smoking / club letting out etc. This didn't really bother me, but if you're looking for a quiet night's sleep then this probably isn't the place for you.
