A 3 star piggybacking off a 4 star impression online

It was slightly underwhelming upon arrival, but it was good value for money.

Overall the staff were nice, if a little quiet. The general impression is that the Hotel is really a 3 star with enough to it to argue that they are a 4 star as stated.

The doors were noisy on our floor too... we had a noisy and annoying group at the end of the hall who kept wandering into each others rooms late at night. You could hear everything.

Room too hot

I was asked if I wanted a quiet room, and was given a room overlooking the inside courtyard.

The room was stifling, at least 30 degrees, but the air conditioning in the hotel was no switched on. In order to cool the room I had to open the windows onto the courtyard, but then I was kept awake until 3am by people talking, playing their music, watching TV, etc. I asked for a table fan but they did not have one, so I had to put up with a terrible night's sleep. On checking out I was offered a free breakfast, but it was sleep that I wanted.

Good location but i would not stay there again.
