About the hotel
A fun and friendly choice on the seafront with free on street parking. The guesthouse also has two lovely Bars, both with a full menu. The Gather Inn menu consists of home-made dishes from locally sourced ingredients that are served with a smile.
The Sea View Bar is the place to have a meal or sip a drink while admiring the view of the Lagoon and Seafront. Menu options include Steaks, Ribs, Hunters Chickens, Home-made burgers, Fish & chips and beautiful Sunday Roast, to name a few! The well stocked Bar has a Wine List, Cocktails, Real Ale, Craft Beers, Lagers and Ciders. Expect to find Live entertainment some weekends such as acoustic duos/ solo artists, Cocktail evenings, Pub Games, a pool table and friendly, attentive staff. On the lower level, the Lagoon View Bar is open when the weather is nice. The Bar has views over the Lagoon from the raised seating area, a Pool Table, Plasma TVs, a Jukebox, Children's Seating area with Toys and Games and direct access to the Patio Area. The Patio is a pleasant little spot to catch some sun and enjoy "people watching". Guests benefit from a 10% discount off of the Food Menu (T&C's apply, see staff for details). Please note, breakfast can be added on arrival with the exception of the following dates: 30/11 and 07/11. Then 14/12/15 - 20/12/15 and 25/12/15 - 27/12/15.

Cheap and cheerful
For an overnight stay when you don't want to be in the heart of Brighton this is fine as long as you are good at sleeping through constant traffic noise.
Windows aren't double-glazed so you can hear traffic on the A259 constantly. Room was clean and tidy but no headboard on bed so had to watch tv propped up on pillows leaning on the wall. No biscuits on tea tray. Shower base was cracked and been "fixed" with gaffer tape. Only 1 bath towel each and no hand towel provided. Breakfast is £5 extra - quite basic but nothing wrong with it. Plentiful supply of toast and hot drinks but only 2 cereals and 1 juice option (orange). Probably wouldn't come back with friend as she didn't sleep well with traffic noise although I slept though it!
Great for the World Cup!
Great little place to stay, friendly staff and good service
