You get what you pay for

The first room we were allocated had an overwhelming chemical small that made us both cough, we left the room window open to air it while we had dinner but had to ask to be moved to a different room as it had not improved.

The rooms were basic but the bed was comfortable enough, the traffic noise was bad despite the double glazing it sounded like the window was open. The on site restaurant was awful, service terrible, food ordinary and prices high. They might have cheap rooms but they rip you off on food and drink.

Excellent venue

The staff were very welcoming and as we were travelling with our family dog, they had reserved us a room on the ground floor.

The place was extremely clean and airy, the room was large with a lovely big shower room. For those with dogs, there is an area of rough land to take the dog for a walk on. Also if you are trying to book with the dog, you just put it in the comments section as you book. I rang the hotel to ask how to do this as it was not clear on either Ibis or LateRooms website.
