Hotel receptionist Jessica was fantastic, so helpful and friendly.
The food is of a very high quality and the breakfast was very good. Staff in the dining room were friendly and attentive. I think the cleaning staff deserve a mention as the room and bathroom were spotless. We had a room overlooking the village green which was very pleasant. Will return in summer or autumn and would recommend this well run hotel.
Charming old building. Excellent food.
The hotel looks and feels traditionally old fashioned.
Our spacious room was in a modern annex, with reasonably fast free WiFi.There was only one double power socket, which is not enough for a kettle, a TV and chargers for smart phones, iPad, Kindle and camera . Breakfasts were good. The dinners were excellent, and good value at £25 for starter and main course.
