Cheap and cheerful
This was a last minute booking due to family emergency.
Room very basic but have to say it was one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in, which was very much appreciated after the trying day we'd had!
Good bits and bad bits
We stayed in an executive family room (41) which was spacious and fine on the first night.
On the second, a Saturday, we realised we were directly above the bar- it was as if they were in the same room. We rang reception and asked to be moved but had to be put in a smaller room. Much quieter. The next morning, on check out, they gave us a ten pound discount (reflecting the difference in rates between the rooms). So, they handled it really well, but it would have been better if - as a young family with a three year old- the room we had been given hadn't been over a pub with a booked party.
