About the hotel

‘ Y Llwyn Guest House’ is a 4 star establishment, in the picturesque village of Llandrillo on the B4401, on the outskirts of Bala, with its natural lake, the largest in Wales, well known for it’s water sports, and 15min. from the ‘Canolfan Tryweryn Raffting and Canoeing Centre,' on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park. Bedrooms overlook the ‘Berwyn’ mountains and green fields, with plenty of public footpaths.

The area is renowned for it’s natural beauty. We have two highly recommended restaurants and a pub that serve meals in the village, all year, and a shop/post office.

Lovely quiet spot with open views and fields, not luxury accommodation as described.

Beautiful spot and the location is idyllic and quiet, breakfast superb and pleasant host.

Comfy bed and ideal location for front garden to sit and chill out and admire the views. The accommodation in booking was described as luxury double room. Yes it was a sizable double however the decor and bathroom dated but spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fantastic walks and local history.

Winter break

A handy and homely place to stay.

Parking not easy and a car essential to explore the area as not much by way of amenities in the village during the winter.
