Tranquility in N Wales

Had a great 3 night stay here.

Came for its position in LFA7 and more specifically, the Mach Loop, where it's quite possible to be buzzed by low-flying aircraft. If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to be. Very picturesque just a few hundred yards from Tal y Lllyn lake, at the base of Cader Idris, the 2nd highest mountain in Wales. A short drive from the coast and one of the most beautiful stretches of railway line in the whole of Britain. No TV in the hotel due to its position, but didn't need it. Food is exceptional - the steak and ale pot is to die for. Gordon also keeps a good selection of local bottled real ales for your delectaton. Highly recommended.
