Ravenstone Manor is a delightful country hotel set in over 3 hectares of its own grounds, just 4 miles from Keswick and close to Bassenthwaite in the Lake District. There are spectacular views over Bassenthwaite Lake with open countryside for fell walking and sight seeing.
You will find the hotel warm and welcoming providing everything needed to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. During a stay at the Ravenstone guests will experience comfort and luxury. All 20 superb bedrooms are individually decorated to the highest level, including quality fabrics and crisp bed linens. Most bedrooms have fantastic open country views of the Lake District. All bedooms are en-suite. Home cooked evening meals are available, created from succulent cuts of meat and fish all locally sourced. Ravenstone Manor strives to do everything to ensure that guest take pleasure in staying within their establishment. Within the hotel there is a bar, games room and sitting room. Next door to the bar is the games room with a full size snooker table, pool table and table tennis table for guests to use. Our garden, with views across to Bassenthwaite lake and the fells beyond, is available for a relaxing drink at any time. With England's five tallest mountains and deepest lake, two national parks, three areas of outstanding beauty and much more, Cumbria's rich natural environment is simply unique. Visit and you can't help but be mesmerised, guests can explore the great outdoors and discover some of the most beautiful scenery along with a wealth of flora and fauna. Come down from the fells to discover the unique character of Cumbria's towns and villages. A lovely hotel in an excellent setting overlooking Bassenthwaite lake.
Excellent location for walking and exploring the northern Lake District and the Solway Firth.the hotel offers comfortable sitting room and dining room with fantastic views. My bedroom was spacious and comfortable and had panorama-tic views.
