spectacular views of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built by Thomas Telford. Or
perhaps embark on a horse-drawn boat along the main canal. At Lllangollen
Railway, a steam hauled Heritage Railway Line, visitors can enjoy the
pleasures of a bygone age and even meet Thomas the Tank Engine. The Railway
is run by volunteers and operates trains along the banks of the River Dee
from Llangollen to Carrog through some of the most beautiful scenery in the
UK. For historic adventure, the magnificent fortress of Chirk Castle offers
