We are located a stone's throw from Richmond's magnificent Norman Castle and only a short walk to the spectacular River Swale. We would be pleased to offer you a warm welcome to our establishment. We serve excellent cask ales, beers and lagers together with a wide range of wines, spirits and soft drinks. We also serve home cooked traditional pub food at both lunch and dinner.
The Castle Tavern is a Grade II listed building with plenty of character and charming original features can be seen throughout the pub. We have an open plan bar area with plenty of space that works well for live band entertainment every fortnight on a Saturday. If you are wanting a quiet Saturday evening please check whether we have a band playing on the evening of your stay before booking.
