We are situated approximately one mile from the old town of Hastings with its interesting history, the promenade, Priory Meadow and the shopping arcade and walkway.
Hastings is on a mainline for London, 90 minutes to Charing Cross.
We are situated on the south-east coast of England, 24 miles east of Lewes, the county town of East Sussex.
It claims fame through its' connection with the Norman Conquest and is one of the medieval Cinque Ports. In the Old Town of Hastings there is a warren of narrow streets and timbered houses leading down to the harbour where fishermen still unload their fish on to the beach - there are fishing huts, a fishing museum, and a shipwreck heritage centre.
Hastings has an ancient castle built in 1070 on the West Hill reached by a funicular lift and St. Clements Caves, once used by smugglers.
There are wonderful cliff walks with views from Fairlight Glen and Ecclestone Glen and the Fire Hills, so called because of the yellow blaze of gorse in the spring.

A21 - Road: As you approach Hastings on the A21 you will go under a bridge after which you must take the next right turn, signposted Battle – follow the road to the junction & take a right turn on to the A2100 – follow this road past the Conquest hospital on your right, and a little further on, the cemetery on your left.
Almost immediately turn right into Elphinstone Road, the football club on the left hand side, take the second turning on the left after that & you can find Muffins at 10 Seymour Villas.
