The Garsdale Bed & Breakfast at GARSDALE HOUSE, Garsdale Head is ideally situated at the tip of Wensleydale in the heart of some of the most beautiful walking country in England. We converted the barn in 2010 keeping lots of its charm & character yet offering modern day facilities. We provide beautiful accommodation, ample free parking & a warm welcome making your stay, relaxing, comfortable & a true home from home break. (customer reviews). On arrival we welcome our guests & show them around the property, help with luggage to your room, which has: Air Conditioning, Flat screen HD-TV, Free Sat, luxury Egyptian cotton bath robes, towels & flannels, Guest slippers, superb en-suite with high power showers, fridge, FREE Wi-Fi & so much more to make your stay a little bit special & one to remember for all the right reasons. We have a small Licensed bar “for guests only” with a great choice of Wines, Spirits, Beers, Lagers & Soft Drinks. You can enjoy a drink in the dining area along with other guests or take to your room. Evening meals or snacks are also available but these need to be ordered in advance so we can prepare them fresh for you. We have enjoyed running our Bed & Breakfast now for 4 years & have been lucky enough to meet some of the most wonderful people from all over the World whether they have been passing through from The Coast to the Lake District, staying for a short time to visit The Yorkshire Dales or for a longer Holiday to the Area. THE GARSDALE IS OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND BUT ANY BOOKINGS OVER CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR ARE FOR A MINIMUM OF A 2 NIGHT STAY & WE OFFER DISCOUNTS ON WEEKDAY, DIRECT BOOKINGS, ON STAYS OF 3 NIGHTS OR MORE. A1 - Road: From the A1. Leave the A1 at Bedale/ Leeming Bar. Follow the A684 through Leyburn and head to Hawes. Continue though Hawes on A684 for about 4 miles and you will see us on the right hand side close to the junction (B6259) to Kirby Stephen (Next Door to the Moorcock Inn).

M6 - Road: From the M6. Leave the M6 at Junction 37 then head towards Sedbergh on the A684. Go though Sedbergh staying on the A684 towards Hawes. You need to turn right towards Hawes as you are coming out of Sedbergh town centre on the A684. Follow the A684 through Garsdale and then you pass under a viaduct. As you drop down the hill you will see the Junction on the left to Kirkby Stephen (B6259) and on that Junction a Pub called the Moorcock Inn. We are located just after the pub on the left hand side

Garsdale Railway Station - Train: Arriving at Garsdale Train Station. Let us know your arrival time and we will collect you free of charge in our Mini Bus (Country Private Hire) We can carry up to 8 Passengers and Luggage “A bus service also runs to & from Garsdale Station to Hawes and stops and picks up passengers outside our door. From other train stations, please call us and we can arrange pickup at discounted fares.
