An array of Pennine hilltop towns and villages are just a short journey away including Haworth, the world heritage site of Saltaire, Hebden Bridge, Heptonstall and Last of the Summer Wine’s Holmfirth and the historic steam railway made famous in the Railway Children, The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, is ten minutes away. .
Yorkshire’s historic capital, York, is only an hour away while Harrogate, Leeds,Otley, Ilkey and the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, Skipton, are even closer. Visit the Duke of Devonshire’s estate at Bolton Abbey or travel to the market town of Grassington.

Halifax - Road: Proceed up Keighley Road (A629) past the fire station until the houses end on the left hand side, Turn left on to Rocks Lane at sign for Halifax Golf Club to the first turning on the right which is Lane Head Lane. Follow the road down past the no through road sign to where the road forks left and right. Brook House with its grey gates is between the two unmade road. Please press the buzzer for access.

Halifax station - Train: Take the main Keighley Road (A629) past fire station to where houses end on the right hand side. Turn left into Field Head Lane and then first right to Lane Head Lane. Continue to bottom after no through road sign. Brook House is between the two unmade roads behind the named gates. Press the buzzer. Alternatively we can arrange a pick up service by prior arrangement.

Bradford - Road: Follow Thornton Road the B6145 through the village of Thornton to main crossroads. Travel through traffic lights to next set and turn left onto Keighley Road (A629) past the Causeway Foot pub to next right ...see signs for Halifax Golf Club and plant nursery. Our sign is there too. Turn right on top road of Rocks Lane to junction. Turn right onto Lane Head Lane to bottom. Brook House is set behind grey gates at the point where the road forks. Ring the buzzer for entry.

Bradford station - Train: Travel up Thornton Road (B6145) through Thornton to four road crossroads with traffic lights. Cross through the lights to next set turn left onto Keighley Road (A629). Proceed a mile past the Causeway Foot pub to next right ( see signs for Halifax Golf Club and plant nursery ). Turn right on top road Rocks Lane to junction where you turn left onto Lane Head Lane. Proceed to bottom where Brook House is behind the grey gates where the road forks. Press buzzer for entry. Or we can pick you up !

Airports - Air: From Leeds Bradfird airport travel to Bradford city centre then follow directions for Bradford by Road. We can always arrange a pick up. Brook House is 35 minutes away. Manchester airport is an hour away. Again a pick up can be made by prior arrangement. If driving follow the M62 to Halifax then proceed to town centre and follow directions, Halifax by Road.
