Quintessential English Lakes Pub in Caldbeck village the home of John Peel, famous huntsman and general ‘Bon Vivant’. With comfortable rooms, traditional bar and restaurant with 70 covers and a function room, we are equidistant between Carlisle, Wigton, Penrith, Keswick and Cockermouth.

We use only good locally sourced products to produce excellent ‘Rustic’ food, including game, hand-made pies, home-made chips and and a good vegetarian selection, a good value for money wine list and local Cask Ale brewed at Jennings over the fell at Cockermouth

Only 10 miles of J40 on the M6. Take the B5305 Northbound for Wigton and pick up the signs for Caldbeck after 7 miles. The OddFellows is right in the centre of Caldbeck Village
